We are excited to introduce “Tune In” a new meditation group specifically geared for young, college-aged individuals, organized by Curtis Bell. This group is designed to be an accessible entry point for those new to meditation, offering a supportive environment to explore mindfulness practices.
Open to the Public and Welcome to All. No Registration Required, Just Show Up!
Group Structure:
Meeting Time: The group will meet every Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Starts on September 20th, 2024.
Meditation: Each session will begin with a partly guided, partly silent meditation to help participants ease into their practice, regardless of experience level.
Discussion & Storytelling: Following meditation, we’ll have a group discussion with an emphasis on storytelling. Drawing from the book Zen Flesh, Zen Bones, we’ll read a short parable each week and use it as a starting point for participants to share personal stories and reflections. Our goal is to foster a deeper sense of connection and insight.
