We start at 9AM with either Qigong session outside or a mindfulness meditation workshop in our meditation hall (feel free to come and go as you please). At 10AM we come together to watch or participate in the traditional Buddhist Wesak ceremony as lead by Slowly Ripening Sangha (affiliated with Plum Village and Thich Nhat Hanh). After an early lunch potluck (newcomers–don’t feel obligated to bring anything, there has always been plenty of food), we will come together for a panel discussion in the meditation hall.
For newcomers, the panel discussion will be the one and only time in 2026 where all our group leaders (or an experienced representative) will be in the same room at the same time. They will introduce their practice and tradition and then these group leaders will discuss our topic of discussion, “Impermanence”, the birth and death of all things.
